At the Art School here in Sunningwell we are having to say goodbye to Anna Lever, who after 25 years as director of the school is retiring, we wish Anna great success and joy as she can now spend more time doing the things she loves and developing her own potting career.
We were also sorry to see Chris Taylor retire last month after a very long term administrating in the office. In order to ensure continuity at the art school, and to be able to continue the great legacy that Anna leaves, we have created two new posts, I am delighted that Allyson Austin will take on the role of Director of Artistic Studies and I will now be the Director of Administration.
Between Allyson, myself and all the super tutors here at the art school we aim to ensure we will continue developing and expanding the range of visual art courses and to a high standard whilst maintaining the supportive culture that Anna has developed over the years. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Art School soon, if not for our summer term then why not consider attending one of our one or two day courses during the first and second weeks of April.
