Stacey Gledhill
Stacey Gledhill is New Zealand born and raised. She moved to the UK in 2010 to pursue an atelier art education, and is now living and working in Oxford, UK. From 2011 – 2015 Stacey studied the foundations of classical painting and drawing at London Fine Art Studios. Working from life and from the model, she learnt the principles of representational painting including value/tone, drawing, colour, edges, and composition. This classical foundation is at the core of her painting practice and her teaching.
Stacey has had several solo exhibitions both in Oxford and abroad. She has exhibited with the Federation of British Artists, at the Mall Galleries in London, and at Leighton House Museum. She has been featured in Artists and Illustrators magazine and in 2019 she was shortlisted for the Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize.
Stacey is a visiting painting tutor at Balliol College, Oxford and teaches regular painting workshops at several Oxford Colleges, as well as private classes.
