Charlotte Houlihan
Working from life, Charlotte creates honest and thoughtful studies of the beauty and expression of the human figure. They are direct, often spontaneous observations of our body language and nature as much as an individual’s form and features, quickly recorded in oil paints or inks.
Following a degree in Furniture and Product Design from Ravensbourne, and alongside a career in design, Charlotte has studied life drawing and painting with RCA fellow Bobby Gill. She brings this diverse experience to her teaching. Sharing practical drawing and observation skills, while equally championing individual expression and exploration.
