Clova Stuart-Hamilton
After graduating in Fine Art from Oxford University Clova attended the RA Schools gaining a Postgraduate qualification in Painting. Her own practice, which is under-pinned with drawing and working directly from life, is rooted in this early training. She has been exhibiting and selling paintings for more than 30 years. Her work has been shown mostly at galleries in London, including having work accepted for the RBA and NEAC Open Exhibitions in Oxford and in Southern England. Here, numerous collectors have discovered her work, although many paintings have found buyers in the US, in Europe and Hong Kong.
Since her obtaining her PGCE at Goldsmiths’ College, Clova has become a very experienced and versatile teacher having worked in a range of contexts including Radley College, where she also taught History of Art; a previous stint at Sunningwell School of Art, OLASS and currently a Short Course Tutor at the Ruskin School of Art.
