Over this two day course students will discover a process to sculpt hands and feet using clay, which will then be fired in our kiln.

Using a life model, the first day will focus entirely on how to see the hand, and how best to describe a hand in three dimensions.  During the second day the focus will switch to feet, and students will observe how the same system will allow them to sculpt accurately a foot in any position.

The simple process will enhance both the importance of including hands and feet in sculpture, and students confidence to make use of this inclusion
