Enjoy a day of relief printing with a variety of textured surfaces to create layered base textures and colours for lino printing.

Experiment with polystyrene, wood, and fabric to give texture and depth to your relief prints.

Students can bring along any textured surface they think may look good printed, for example coarse fabrics like hessian or sacking, or wood with interesting sawn grain, rope, textured wallpaper offcuts - even corrugated card looks good printed when it is split or cut!

Students will also need to bring a wooden spoon, new if possible

Suitable for all levels.
