The Art of Slipware with Anthony Eccles
The art of slipware is a fun and direct way of making decorative pottery.Traditional slipware plays on the liquid slip revealing and concealing the red clay body or surface: students will use a variety of and throwing and hand building methods to explore a range of decorative slip techniques that are then usually finished with a clear glaze.
Part 1 (making): Tuesday 6th July from 10am to 4pm
Part 2 (glazing): Tuesday 16th July (2 hour session from 10am to 12pm in the morning or 1pm to 3pm afternoon. Please reserve both of these times. Your session will be arranged on Tuesday 6th July.)
Course fees are £200.
Price includes all materials glazing and firing.
