Originally from Devon, Emma has a background in fine art and environmental conservation leading to a life-long love of creativity and nature. When she gets a chance to do her own work she loves to experiment with colourful oil pastels and ink washes, but is always excited by using new media or new techniques. She is passionate about giving her workshops an art historic or scientific context which helps to give her students greater understanding of how and why people create artworks. She loves working with diverse audiences, especially young people, helping them to find joy and confidence in their own creativity. She also helps to run the family vineyard in Devon!
