Cyantotypes - print your own cards, tags and decorations

You might think of cyanotypes as just being for the summertime, but their elegant beauty can be used to make unique hand-made Christmas cards, tags and decorations. We will explore the process of cyanotypes (sun prints) using botanical specimens, paper templates, glass objects and hand-made negatives to make festive designs. Get inspired by the simple birds, stars and shapes of both Picasso and Matisse to make some mini masterpieces. Once dry, the sun prints can be embellished, trimmed and fixed to make thoughtful greetings cards for family and friends. The class will be run by Emma Williams, tutor and artist who loves to experiment with cyanotypes within her own art practice. www.naturallearningoxford.co.uk
