ArtWeeks 2026

We’ve missed you! Following our 2025 break, we’re returning with a wonderful showcase of talent from more than 400 students. Our exhibition will be open from Saturday, May 23rd to Monday, May 25th. Drop by any day from noon until 6:00 PM to see what our students have been creating. Refreshments will be available.

ArtWeeks 2026

We would like to say a huge congratulations to Emma Williams, one of our wonderful tutors, on winning this years’ Mary Moser Prize for Artweeks 2026!

Emma is a professional practising artist specialising in cyanotype prints. You can read her interview with the Artweeks team here.

You can also visit her during Artweeks – she will be exhibiting with The Abbey Group at venue 23.

Arty Animals Competition

A huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who attended our Arty Animals exhibition at Magdalen Road Studios on December 1st making it a roaring success! It was a chance for us to meet some the wonderful young artists of Oxfordshire. The winners and runners-up in each category are listed below.

We are delighted to announce our new children’s and young people’s Youth Bursary Scheme for the wonderful young artists of Oxfordshire aged between 5 and 16.

Did you know we have 8 amazing classes a week for 5-16’s?

Between 4.30pm and 6.00pm Monday-Thursday Sunningwell School of Art belongs to children and young people for classes taught by practising professional artists in art studios, not classrooms.

Half and full bursaries are available.
