Classical portrait painting in Oils.

Classical Portraiture in Oils is a 3-hour class with a model and is capped at 8 students.

This class will lead you through painting a portrait by breaking it down into various component parts such as structure, light and dark, and colour. Students will work from the model and also use a small selection of portraits by some wonderful artists to copy and learn these various techniques from. As the work is reviewed, every student will likely encounter unique problems. These can be discussed individually or in groups, with demonstrations from Marcus.
