A fantastic opportunity in print. Over this two-day workshop you will learn monoprint, collagraph and lino printmaking processes and explore the exciting possibilities that these different practices can bring to your image making. On day one you will learn monoprint techniques and will experiment with collagraph printmaking, using different textured materials to make a printing block that will make your print. On day two the focus will be on linocut printmaking where we will look at image composition, carving techniques and taking a print. 

Throughout the workshop you will be encouraged to build up your understanding of the comparative aesthetics of different print processes and how compelling the world of print can be. 

There is parking at the school, on the road in front of the school and the village hall car park. Complimentary refreshments are available throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch and small change if you wish to buy paper at the school. Please note - there is no shop in the village.
