This course is designed to encourage your creative skills and curiosity. It is suitable for beginners who like to explore, and those with more experience.

In short introductory sessions each week Alison will encourage you to experiment and inspire you to use a variety of wet and dry media with an emphasis on enjoying the creative process.

The aim is to build your confidence to extend your skills, recognising that a particular media or mix of media, technique, use of colour, texture or scale can enhance your work. Developing a range of sketches and experimental sheets of work will also help record and recognise your progress.

Working together drawing and painting, sharing ideas and enjoying taking risks in a supportive atmosphere you will also be encouraged to develop and structure your own individual creative projects.
