Two-Day Throwing Masterclass

In this class we will cover the basics of clay preparation and getting started on the wheel. All levels welcome, including beginners.

I will introduce throwing cylinder forms and simple bowls focusing on centring and drawing up the clay. If you are a more experienced thrower, I will give a review of your existing skills before progressing onto new challenges. My own work primarily focuses on thrown pieces, and sometimes pots are altered and faceted at the soft clay stage.

Parking is available in front of the school in the school car park, on the street and in the village hall car park nearby. Complimentary refreshments are available throughout the day. Please bring a packed lunch.
